Eurodies is part of the HOME Industry 4.0 project.

Italy, along with Germany, is recognized as a leader in European manufacturing and a global reference for product quality. This involves not only the giants in the field, but the entire galaxy of small and medium enterprises that make up the most valuable segment of the Italian economy and a significant share of the European one. The HOME research project of the Piedmont Region, financed with European funds, was created to explore and promote the development of the Industry 4.0 production model. In this vision, the factory is conceived as a single large “smart” machine, equipped with open architecture and information systems, which communicate with each other and which allow people in the factory to monitor activities like critical issues, costs, optimal use of resources, traceability, maintenance, operational performance, etc., in real time. In an environment that works organically, decisions are faster and more precise, because they are based on complete, transparent and integrated data.
The HOME project includes 27 partners: nine research institutions, nine technological development companies and nine industrial companies, including our own.
The HOME project aims to position the consortium as a single system offering significant value, in order to manage manufacturing processes in a more streamlined, conscious and sustainable way, without necessarily having to depend on the platforms that dominate the market.
