Choosing to save energy

Saving energy and integrating resources that have less impact on the environment are priorities for Eurodies. In line with Goal 7 (affordable and clean energy) and Goal 9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, we have adopted sustainability-oriented best practices, such as powering our plants with mixed energy sources and optimising the use of photovoltaic systems.
From 2018 to 2022, we replaced incandescent bulbs with 300 LEDs in order to reduce electricity consumption. As early as 2019, Repower attested to our commitment to sustainability when assessing Eurodies’s lighting system and the energy needs of our processing plants.
Avoiding waste and favoring the most environmentally friendly forms of consumption is part of an approach that’s rooted in the life of our company and in the daily actions of the people who work with us: they’re aware of the value of resources for the community and the ecosystem.
Using paper responsibly, not wasting electricity, and making an electric car charging station available to all motorists who need it, are the expression of a vision that goes beyond the perimeter of our company and contributes to sustainability – which is an asset, a duty and a right for everyone – well beyond the workplace.
