“Take the Train”: Eurodies’s sustainable mobility initiative crosses the finish line

The third leg of a green journey

1, 2, 3… go! The third and final lap of our sustainable mobility journey has been completed. After cycling in May and carpooling in September, we continued our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of commuting with our ‘Take the Train’ initiative.

Those who signed up in October were given a free monthly pass to travel by train or by bus for the month of November. This initiative encouraged people to choose alternative transportation, reducing the use of private cars.

An invitation to change perspective

Fifteen employees took up the challenge, closing the loop on an initiative that offered people a range of alternative transportation opportunities. In the previous two phases, three cyclists received a €60 gift card each, while the seven ‘travelers’ from the two carpooling teams each received €40 vouchers.

These results indicate a growing awareness and openness to more eco-friendly modes of travel, and highlight our company’s desire to always do more and do better – both in designing environmentally friendly technological solutions and in promoting sustainability-oriented lifestyles.

A more sustainable future for everyone

Eurodies’s sustainable mobility project – planned in collaboration with the benefit corporation MobilitySquare – is proof that our health, the well-being of our communities and the well-being of the planet are not just words, but daily choices made by each and every one of us.

Even an automotive brand can make a contribution, embracing innovation, social responsibility and the knowledge that even when it comes to the highest goals, everyone can do their part.
